We have just realised how much Garbin Estate Wines has achieved since our last blog in July 2014 so we thought we had better note our achievements before 2014 is done and dusted.
August saw our 2014 Verdelho receive the ultimate award in its Class - a Gold and Trophy at the 2014 Singapore Airlines Swan Valley Wine Show along with our ever popular 2014 Chenin, a Silver. The 2014 Verdelho was chosen as a white wine for the Swan Valley wine promotion in the SilverKris Lounge of the Perth International Airport during the months of Oct/Nov/Dec. We often hear that all our wines are great across the range but at the cellar door, the people's choice award is the 2013 Shiraz. Try our premium range and make your choice.
Garbin Estate has embarked on cellar door renovations and we are nearly completed, see photos on our website facebook page. If over the past 5 years you have visited our winery, you might have seen 2 jarrah wood slabs "lying around". So many customers have given us so much "valuable advice" regarding what to do with these slabs so visit us and see what has been achieved by Troy of Parkerville Wildwood Furniture ph 0477663236. Half way through these renovations Peter & Katrina went to PR of China to present wine seminars over 3 days to our export clients. Lots of work in the lead up to get there, during and on return home from China but the experience for both of us was enlightning and we received such warm hospitality from our hosts. In December we christened our new cellar door bar with our Christmas client sundowner 3 days after its installation.
Vintage 2015 looms early January circa second week. And we continue to increase our volume of methode traditionelle sparkling production which requires early picking to capture higher acid levels. So visit us at our cellar door and continue the conversation with Peter, Katrina, Joel or Adam.
